I liked Revlon's Colorstay Overtime Lipcolor with Softflex well enough to buy a variety of colors after finding them at a discount store for $3. Unfortunately, the formulations appear to have changed for the worse.
I initially planned to replace a favorite color, a sort of rosy mauve/violet, that felt very much like a lip gloss going on and did not flake nor feel dry or tacky when set. Problem was, I couldn't recall the name of the shade because the plastic box had long since been discarded and the name on the side of the barrel had rubbed off. To my delight, I thought I found a perfect match when I came across a color titled "Eternal Petal". Sadly, what is actually in the tube is not at all a match for my old product even though the swatches on the barrel are 100% identical. Applied to the lips, Eternal Petal is a dusty gray violet - not nearly as warm or as mauve/rose as the swatch or the color on the applicator wand would suggest.
