Thank god for Sephora and their staff's frequent willingness to give out samples! Otherwise I doubt I would have ever tried this wonderful product since, for me, $45 is too expensive to buy it to try it.
Here's my issue: I have oily skin. And I mean OILY. Usually my foundation has almost completely worn off by lunch time due to teh excess oil. I've tried a variety of "solutions" including numerous acne and anti-oil cleansers, toners, serums... And I had settled on some products that worked... for a couple hopurs anyway. After about an hour my skin would be getting shiny and after a few hours most of my make-up would be gone.
Enter Make Up For Ever... Now I can't say that I've tried every single primer ever made, by any means. But I've tried a few and none have been as effective as this product. I can't say that it keeps my skin from shining all day, but it's a vast improvment. With this product, I need to do some touch-ups with some oil blotting papers and powder, but my make-up is still...
