After years of seeing those infomercials and wondering about this product, I finally bit the bullet and bought the Bare Minerals SPF 15 Matte Foundation. I had read lots of good (and some bad) reviews on it, and was interested to see how it worked for me.

I have very oily, acne prone skin so I knew I had to go with the Matte formula. This foundation is easy to apply (with the swirl, tap, buff method.) I use the Elf powder brush (which is amazing) because I had heard bad things about the Bare Minerals brush shedding and didn't want to waste my money on that.

You do definitely need to work this foundation into your skin well. It has a tendency to look well blended on your skin, and then the next time I would look in the mirror, I would see a little caking between my eyebrows. But overall this foundation gave my skin a nice look. I would say it's medium coverage, although supposedly you can layer it to get heavier coverage. This evens out my skin tone and calms down my redness. It does not...

I was looking for a nude colored lipgloss to go with some of my nude toned lipsticks, so I decided to try the NYX lipgloss in beige. I love the formula of this lipgloss! It is not sticky, it actually feels quite moisturizing. It gives a nice color payoff, which I was impressed with. A lot of lip glosses that are supposed to be tinted have little to no color, so I was impressed with how pigmented this lip gloss was for sure! I also love the applicator, it's slightly bent. Overall, this is an amazing lipgloss! I have since bought another, and would love to get even more! I highly recommend it!

I've used an Ojon conditioner before and hated it, so I thought I would never use another Ojon product, but I had sample packets of Ojon Damage Reverse Restorative Shampoo and Conditioner, so I thought I might as well try them. Just as I expected, it wasn't just the previous Ojon conditioner that I didn't like because I didn't like this one either!

Effectiveness

Ojon Damage Reverse Restorative Conditioner did not really condition my hair at all. I used the shampoo and then the conditioner; when I tried to comb out my hair, it was all tangled. Just like the other Ojon Conditioner, but at least this one doesn't smell quite as bad. I do like that this conditioner contains ingredients that help restore health to chemically-treated hair, but

Scent

Although not as bad as another Ojon conditioner that I've used, Ojon Damage Reverse Restorative Conditioner has a bad scent. It smells musty and gross and I would never buy this or any product that smelled like this.

Compared to most all mainstream drugstore and some high-end shampoos and conditioners, Mane n Tail has very few ingredients. I find that I don't have the contact dermatitis and flaky scalp that I get when using non-Mane n Tail products. I use this shampoo in conjunction with the Mane N Tail Texturize conditioner. Works very very well. Through very careful brand-name choices I am able to color my hair, which is no small feat for someone chemically sensitive to ammonia, peroxide and other standard salon chemicals. This shampoo and conditioner does not snarl my hair up or make it break off. I was really surprised by that. I know a product is not going to work the same for everyone. I have extremely good luck with it and hope that Straight Arrow never sells out or goes out of business. I LOVE THEM! Straight Arrow, if you're reading this, keep them coming!

I would not consider this your normal bar of soap because it really has NO chemicals in it just all natural ingredients that anyone can pronounce.It feels good to know that there is nothing harmful in it. It does not have any perfumes in it yet smells so good like fresh cup of coffee). I used it on my face as well and it did not dry me out a bit.My skin feel smoother and look clearer thanks to this bar. Works very well!

My dermatologist recommended that I switch to this daily moisturizer and I'm glad that I did. I love the fact that it has a sunscreen and moisturizer in one. I'm very fair skinned and in my middle fifties, but my skin looks considerably younger and I feel that has to do with using products like this. It's easy to apply and the only drawback is a little bit of a white sheen left on my face. I make sure to rub it in completely so I don't look like a geisha girl.

Effectiveness

This moisturizer really does protect against sun damage, and living here in California and being outside a lot, I know I'm using the best.

Ease of Application

The moisturizer blends into my skin easily, just need to watch the little bit of white sheen left on the skin.

Scent

I rate it as ok, since it's pretty much unscented, which is perfect for me. I love scent, but I prefer facial moisturizers without any scent. So, if you're looking for scent, this is not for you.

I am always blonde. I started out blonde as a baby and now I pay to get my blonde hair in a salon. My hair has a ton of highlights, so I was curious to see what my samples of John Frieda Sheer Blonde Highlight Activating Shampoo and Conditioner would do for my hair. As it turns out, the conditioner doesn't so much, but I did enjoy the shampoo.

Effectiveness

I really like this shampoo for its cleansing abilities and the fact that combining it with the conditioner, my blonde hair was shiny and soft after using. I'm not sure how much shinier my hair would be if I didn't use the matching conditioner, but by using both, I got nice results in the shininess department. I also love that this shampoo REALLY lathers. I got a ton of bubbles each time I used this product and I love that. To me, the more the lather, the better the cleaning job!

Scent

I'm not a fan of this scent, which is why I had to knock a star off and give this product 4-stars. With a better, non-perfumey scent, this would be...
