A few weeks ago, my husband told me that the 80s metal scene was on the phone for me: it wanted its hair back. See, I have naturally curly hair that I usually beat into straight submission with the help of my trusty flat irons. This takes plenty of work, mind you, since I love bangs and refuse to let them grow out. On this particular bad hair day, I was too tired/lazy/apathetic to do anything other than let it dry naturally…and, voila, the perfect 80s storm of poodle-esque “business in the front, party in the back” was born.

Like Christian Dior before it, doll-like beauty was the style projected at Elie Saab's Haute Couture show - but with an '80s slant in the form of frosted pink lipstick.
Despite it looking pretty on the model, we really hope that doesn't catch on.
Peachy velvet skin was brightened up with rosy cheeks (I am loving this new trend in complexion btw), and copious, fluttery lashes framed cat eyes, delicately thin on the lower lashline and thicker on the upper. Brows were kept natural and seemingly ungroomed. Very pretty.

Some women love the ritual of shaving. I'm more of the git-r-done viewpoint, preferring to shave as quickly and rarely as possible. The problem is, I usually wind up with nicks or next-day stubble. This is why Schick's new Hydro Silk razor is blowing my mind, at least as much as a razor possibly can.
